Albelarm Chardonnay (WC Albelarm Supremacy x Valiant Guy's Diana) Albelarm Chardonnay is know in the barn as Abi.  She has been owned by South Pointe Farm since she was a 3-year old and was shown lightly by Marcia as a young mare.  She was then retired to the broodmare barn and has produced several lovely colts, one being our Major Starbuck, whom we are so proud to have bred and trained.  Major is sired by WC Star Material who is owned by Larry Hartsock of Walterway Hills Farm.  This fine colt is now owned by Coe & Bill London of Oklahoma City and is trained by Bret Day at Grey Ridge Farm in Versailles, Kentucky.  Another of Abi's offspring is our Bella Noche who is sired by Only Man In Town.  Bella is a broodmare on our farm and Abi is bred to WC Star Material for a 2009 full sibling to Major Starbuck. Bella Noche (Only Man In Town x Albelarm Chardonnay) Bella is a lovely chestnut mare that is sired by Only Man In Town.  She is 1/2 sister to Major Starbuck, the lovely gaited colt now under the direction of Grey Ridge Farm.  Bella was gaited as a two year old and prepared for the showring.  In the meantime, her dam Albelarm Chadonnay had been sold to Flory Albertson of Oakton, VA.  As Major Starbuck continued to develop, it was decided to simply breed Bella in order to propogate the bottom line of her pedigree.  She was crossed with Star Material in 2006 and had a lovely colt (photo below).  We are eager to see how the addition of the Yorktown blood on the bottom side will impact this foal.

Sand Rose Town

Sand Rose has been with us at South Pointe for a little over a year now. She is presently in foal to Basquiat.  Rose was formerly owned by Pam Boyers of Sunset Farm.  She has produced the lovely Basquietta (lower left--just LOOK at that expression) for Pam and our very special Biscotti 'N Bourbon for us (lower right).  We purchased the breeding to Basuiat at the 2007 Ohio Limited Breeders' Stallion Auction and also at the Michigan Breeders' Jackpot Auction.  Rose recently produced a lovely 2008 filly that can be seen on the "2008 Babies" page. 

Family Facets

Family Facets is new to South Pointe and has produced a spring foal sired by New Dominion  (photo below).  New Dominion is a half-brother to Prize Contender, Time To Boogie and CH Fury.  He was owned by the Gunn family and was only lightly bred.  He is now under the direction of Becky Damron. New Dominion is now 17, but hopes are high that his progeny will be strong performers.  Family Facets just produced a 2008 foal sired by The Sky King and pictured on the "2008 Babies" page.
